This policy applies to all workers, consultants, contractors, customers and visitors to Security Foiling Limited
Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire workplace with no exceptions, including company vehicles.
Smoking is permitted outside the perimeter to the premises during break times. Please do not leave cigarette ends and other waste, dispose of these materials responsibly.
Overall responsibility for the implementation and review of this smokefree policy rests with Mr Peter Starling – Company Director. All staff are obliged to adhere to and facilitate the implementation of the policy.
The person named above shall inform all existing employees, consultants and contractors of the policy and their role in its implementation and monitoring. New personnel will also be given a copy of the policy on recruitment/ induction.
Appropriate 'no smoking' signs will be clearly displayed at the entrances and within the premises.
Local disciplinary procedures will be followed if an employee does not comply with this policy. Those who do not comply with the smoking law are also liable to a fixed penalty fine and possible criminal prosecution.
Security Foiling will provide support for smokers who wish to stop. Please contact Kathleen Bennett for more information.
This policy is effective from 9th January 2013 and will be reviewed on 9th July 2013
